Scottish Highland Dancing
Highland dancing is a very specialized, traditional form of dance with historical background as an athletic sport.
Dancers continue the tradition learning new movements, steps and dances, while improving technical skills, strength and stamina.
There are five levels of dance: Primary, Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Premier
Dancers new to Highland dancing are placed in Celtic Kids (ages 3 1/2 - 5),
Primary Class (ages 5-7), or Beginner Class (ages 7 & over).
(see next page/tab for Competition information)

The Celtic Spirit recital showcases the dancers skills in all forms of Highland dancing from traditional to modern choreography.
Classes are offered monthly Sept - June
Competition workshops are available in July.
